UNSM & COVID19

The coronavirus pandemic has made the year 2020 into a year we will never forget. This global pandemic continues to impact communities, as a First Nation’s community it is vital that we follow the necessary safety protocols. First Nation’s having a high at-risk population, we should all be looking out for one another during this difficult time.

The Union of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq are dedicated to ensuring the safety of its staff and clients. UNSM is following the necessary provincial protocols. We at the Union are working together to make sure everything is done properly in and out of office, enforcing safety measures, practicing cleanliness/ disinfecting and safe social distancing.

We are currently working from home with shifts in office, this offers staff to maintain social distancing, it is important to maintain social distancing between staff and clients. There is also a screening assessment for those who need to go into office.

Stay safe & stay humble!

We WILL get through this, Msit No’kmaq!
